Initial bridlework fitting appointment
Your initial fitting appointment for a made-to-measure bridlework for one horse
What happens in this fitting appointment?
Choose my bridlework fitting service if you’d like: - A made-to-measure Symora Leather bridle, headcollar or breastplate for your horse. - To improve the fit of your current bridle by replacing parts of it with made-to-measure Symora Leather components, such as the cheek pieces. The stages of your bridlework fitting appointment: 1. Horse assessment: I’ll carry out a thorough assessment of your horse, looking at their movement, conformation and symmetry to ensure optimal comfort and fit. 2. Current bridlework assessment: Next, I’ll assess the fit and suitability of your current bridle, headcollar or breastplate. For bridles, I will usually ask for the horse to be ridden to see the bridle in action, so please ensure the usual rider is available for this. 3. Requirements & preferences: We’ll discuss your ideas on bridlework type and style in more detail. 4. Recommendations and next steps I'll share recommendations on bridlework type based on my findings. We’ll then agree how you’d like to proceed. 5. Measuring: Finally, I’ll take detailed measurements of your horse and take photos for reference once I begin making your item in my workshop. 6. Confirmation & deposit: After the appointment, I will send you costings and timeframes for your item. When you're happy, you'll pay your deposit - the remainder will be due once I've finished making your item.
